GOOD NEWS!  You may now access your pay advices online via WebAdvisor!

The system is simple.  Pay advices will be available on WebAdvisor generally by the Wednesday of a payroll week.  If you need a hard copy you can print it.  In addition to the current pay advice, you will find a history of past pay advices along with your annual W-2 information.  You will be able to see your vacation (where applicable) and sick leave  accounts.  For those of you unfamiliar with WebAdvisor, detailed instructions are attached below. After you have logged in, you will need to click on the maroon “Employee” tab on the upper right hand side of the screen to view your information.

You can access this week’s pay advice today.  Go ahead and try it!  You will continue to receive a mailed copy of your pay advice for the next four payrolls through the end of the semester.  The last mailed copy will be the May 22nd payroll.  We want everyone to be comfortable with the system before final implementation.

This system should work to all of our advantage.  You will be able to access payroll information from anywhere you can access the internet.  You can be on an extended vacation away from home and still get your pay advices.  This initiative is also consistent with our ongoing efforts to reduce paper and become a “green” institution.  We will save postage on all of those pay advices for all employees including adjuncts and student employees as well as the expensive special paper used for pay advices.  Of course, if you need any “official” payroll documents for any reason in the future, you will always be able to get those from the payroll department.
