Gateway's FY2010 Budget ~ A Message to All Staff

Gateway is currently in the process of developing the FY2010 Budget. Again this year we would like to make sure your voice is heard. Bryan Albrecht sent an email on Friday, January 9th to all staff regarding some of the challenges we are facing. President Albrecht in his email encouraged input in ways to find efficiencies in our expenses and increase enrollment.

Please use this blog to add your input and ideas. If you prefer to send an email, please send directly to schmitzt@gtc.edu. All submissions will be shared directly with the executive leadership of the college.

Mentoring through Gateway Technical College

** GATEWAY TECHNICAL COLLEGE is in the process of becoming a community partner with Mentor Kenosha & Racine in providing the community with mentors for local organizations. Gateway would like to recruit our employees who would be interested in serving as a volunteer mentor within the community. Why? Being a mentor provides you with personal growth and civic engagement. Being a Gateway mentor develops a sense of civic pride and loyalty to our community.

Gateway's Budget - Can We Get Your Input?

Strategic planning and fiscal responsibility is crucial to Gateway and the community we support. The Higher Learning Commission states, "Without access to the resources - physical, financial and human - support through the budget allocations, even the best-laid plans developed to strengthen capacity to fulfill the organization's mission will come to naught."
